Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Enterprise Safety and Security, coordinates the administration of the corporate safety and security programs, manages processes to ensure compliance with Safety & Security related legislation, and provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services in maintenance of safety & security program functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide subject matter expertise to campuses and Regional Security leadership on compliance with Clery Act and other legislative and accreditation requirements.
Design, oversee implementation of, and track compliance with required education for Clery.
Design and oversee implementation of record keeping systems necessary for Clery compliance.
Coordinate and oversee annual processes for Clery reporting and education.
Provide organizational support to outside consultants and internal auditors during reviews of Clery processes.
Assist in development and management of Safety & Security policy and procedures library.
Oversees the administration of multiple systems and processes, including:
Safety & security training library within Learning Management System (LMS)
Incident reporting and investigation databases
Site contact lists and alarm databases
Develops and provides safety & security related training sessions
Provides program administration to support safety/security related software applications
Develops and oversees implementation of policies and procedures related to functional areas
Complies with all ECMC Group Policies
Performs other related duties and assignments as requested

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Required:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related filed
Experience in an office environment involving management of systems or programs
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience in project management
Experience writing and managing policies and procedures
Experience managing corporate safety & security related administrative software programs
Experience developing and/or managing compliance plans for campus or corporate safety and security programs
Security or Safety related certifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Required:
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficient knowledge and skills working in a computer based office suite environment; Microsoft Windows or Mac Office
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to implement solutions to address business issues. Knows who to involve and takes appropriate action
Ability to perform well under pressure with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently

Preferred:
Knowledge of compliance program principles
Knowledge of Clery reporting and recordkeeping requirements
Working knowledge of Security reporting and documentation programs, particularly Report Exec Software
Ability to anticipate, understand and manage customer expectations and consistent delivery of services
PHYSICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, copy machines/printers
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machine, and computer printer
Frequently communicates with management, teams, through face-to-face, email or phone. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Required to work normal hours to successfully perform the job responsibilities
May need to work nights and weekends to complete assignments
Occasional travel to out-of-state sites up to 25% of the time
Frequently subjected to interruptions, multiple calls and inquiries
Employee works in an office environment. Employee sits at a desk during regularly scheduled work hours; answers and makes telephone calls using a standard telephone; types on a standard keyboard; reads and comprehends information from a computer terminal and/or written resources.
